A haven of peace in the middle of an exceptional panorama

An ideal destination for those who want to spend their holidays in peace. Located on the ground floor of a village house, this rental consisting of a large kitchen, a spacious bedroom and a pretty small bathroom, all in a charming Provencal style, immediately won us over . The house is cool, even in hot weather, we were there during the heat of early July, and it is a real pleasure to return after a day of hiking in the sun. A covered terrace, offering a magnificent panorama, allowed us to take all our meals outside, and it is pure happiness. The parking lot is at the entrance of the village, 200m away, but the owners, very friendly, transported our suitcases to the gîte, with their vehicle adapted to the narrow alleys of this charming village: note that we are a bit far from everything, the nearest grocery store (worthy of the name) is several kilometers away. But the calm and the beauty of the place is at this price!

For us, taking advantage of such a site was a pure delight! The view from the house is exceptional and delighted us throughout the stay: from the first glance in the morning by opening the shutters, until the evening meal under the loggia .... A week of change of scenery and rejuvenation. Thank you for our hosts; for their talents implemented in the renovation of this house and all the "homemade" care given to the decoration! A special thank you to Thierry for his kind welcome and all the advice given which was very useful and from which we benefited well: We discovered the gorges and the Verdon throughout the week with great pleasure and we are already convinced that we will quickly have nostalgia to find these landscapes ..! The cottage is very nicely decorated and is very comfortable for 2 people. It is located under the castle away from the passage with a breathtaking view of the Verdon hills. The dinner is on the terrace admiring the sunset.

The owners are very welcoming and provide useful advice on the Gorges du Verdon and local history.
